Red cards and misconduct information

The red card file lists the red cards by date and person, the reason and the fine and suspension as well as the date the card can be claimed at the office.

The disciplinary action file lists all cautions received each week.  A player who accumulates three cautions on one team in one season is suspended from that team for one game with no fine.  Players who receive their third caution in the last game of the season are suspended for the first game of the next season.

Red card suspensions are issued pursuant to the league rules and these are the suspensions or fines:

Violent conduct - 3 game suspension, $50 fine and $50 bond posted for one year against future red cards.

Referee abuse - 3 game suspension, $50 fine, and $50 bond posted for one year against future red cards.

Serious Foul Play - 2 game suspension, $25 fine

All other red cards - 1 game suspension and $10 fine.

There are no discounts or reductions in fines or bonds if the player is a nice guy, has never gotten a red card before, was the other guy's fault, or is really sorry.

The referee retains the passcard of a player who is issued a red card and the passcard is returned to the office.  When the player is eligible to play, the passcard can be picked up during business hours and the fines paid.
